Man of Steel pushed back to 2016
The fans of Man of STeel 2 have to wait a little longer. The highly anticapted sequel to Man of Steel is pushed back to May 2016. Warner Bros. has pushed back production on Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman March of this year.
In a statement, the studio said:
"We are happy to take advantage of these coveted summer dates, which are perfect for two of our biggest tentpole releases. We share the fans’ excitement to see DC Comics’ most popular figures, Superman and Batman, together on the big screen for the first time, which will now be arriving in theatres in May 2016."
Has Warner had a close look at the summer of 2015 which includes. Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, and Fantastic Four, and decided the film would do better the following year? Or is there more to the new Man of Steel film than yet has been revealed. Now that Gal Gadot (Fast 5) will take on the role of female heroine Wonder Woman. Could the new film tend to lean more in the direction of a Justice League film?
One thing we do know is that Ben Afleck's new Batsuit is "unbelievably cool, a total re-invetion" according to Jennifer Garner (wife of Ben Affleck) was attending the 2014 SAG Awards when she was asked by ET‘s Rocsi Diaz, on the Batman costume in just the classiest way possible.

Henry Cavill is set to return as Superman, Ben Affleck has joined the cast as Batman and Gal Gadot will take on the role of female heroine Wonder Woman. According to reports, Joaquin Phoenix is the frontrunner to play the main villain role.
